Mt. Parnitha

After breakfast and get ready for an exciting and fun day full of hiking and caving! Our guide will meet you at your hotel in Athens and drive you to the starting point. We will start to hike until we reach the impressive Keladona gorge and walk by the riverside and through the very tall and imposing fir trees, plane trees, chestnut trees, etc. Here we make a break to enjoy a snack by the riverside. We continue, approaching the cave and prepare for a rappel (abseiling) activity, wearing all necessary equipment (helmets and safety harnesses) with the help of our guide. From the almost full of plane trees entrance of the cave, we go down the 10 m height rock. The cave consists of two chambers. We have to crawl to pass in the second chamber that has a wonderful basin decorated by stalactite material. In the afternoon return back to your hotel and relax. Overnight

Tatoi

After breakfast our guide will meet you at your hotel in Athens in the morning and drive with you to Tatoi. We will bike along an amazing landscape! We will pass by the old palace, the horse stables, wine cellars, and the royal cemetery. Before returning back to Athens, you will enjoy a delicious Greek handmade picnic prepared with fresh ingredients. Tatoi is one of the most magical areas in Attica. The Tatoi Royal Estate is located 27 km from the city center. It was once the summer retreat of King George and Queen Olga. The estate served as the royal family’s permanent residence. It included vineyards, vegetable gardens, large expanses of citrus trees and extensive olive groves, stables, a winery and an oil mill. Although the royal buildings have been abandoned for many years, the area is still beautiful. Our Biking Tatoi Royal Estate is the perfect tour to discover this beautiful part of Attica. Aleppo pine trees, tall cypresses, poplars, plane trees, beech trees, Greek strawberry trees, olive trees, and citrus trees among others adorn the Tatoi estate! Nowadays it is protected by the Natura 2000 network as an area of outstanding natural beauty. Return back to your hotel and overnight.
